HARD ROCK HOTEL TEAM UP TO FIGHT BREAST CANCER

Rp.12 Million Donated to Indonesian Cancer Foundation as Part of Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. Last October the Hard Rock Hotel Bali held their "Pinktober" annual fund raising event which saw pink cancer awareness wristbands and pink cocktails sold at the Centerstage Bar - all in aid of helping women afflicted with breast cancer.On January 23, 2009. a check for Rp. 12 million (US$1,075.00) was handed by the Hotel's General Manager to the Indonesian Cancer Foundation.Breast Cancer Awareness Month was founded in 1985 and has now become an annual event every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention and cure.
