Kedonganan Customary Village known as a famous as culinary tourism village. There are about 24 cafe's offering luscious seafood delecacies that can be encounter along the shoreline of Kedonganan.
I Ketut Madra, the head of the village Credit Agency (LPD) of Kedonganan Customary Village said that the existence of Kedonganan Beach as a fishery center in Badung is considered by citizens as an oppprtunity develope the culinary business. from this envolved a cafe or grilled seafood stalls that specially provided various kinds of menu along the Kedonganan Beach.


Starting in 2007, the Kedonganan Customary Village supported by Badung Regency arranged the area of Kedoangan Beach. The presence of cafe was then set up properly so the could maximize the potential of local residents. Having passed through a long process, it could be esthablished 24 units of cafe where the physical construction was financed by LPD of Kedonganan Customary Village anounting to IDR 500 million for working capital and inventory. overall the capital invested for the cafe business approximately reached IDR 12 billion.

He said the management of the 24 cafe's was handed over to six customary hamlets existing at Kedonganan Village. Each hamlet was given the right to manage four units of cafe. its was strategy to improve the welfare of Kedonganan society through join effort by utilizing the village territory located on the coast.

furheremore, he said that since then known the Kedonganan Beach was well known as a culinary tourism village. The menus on offer comprosed the grilled fish, lobster, shrimp, mussels, crab,squid, and supporting menus such as chilli-style menus of Kedonganan, water spinach with plecing sauce and some others.
